On December 7th, 2025, TD Africa hosted the 12th edition of its highly anticipated “Celebrating You” Awards Night, an event that has become one of the most cherished traditions in the technology ecosystem. Held at the iconic Eko Hotels & Suites and themed “African Digital Renaissance,” the evening brought together partners, industry leaders, innovators, and national figures for a night dedicated to honouring excellence and strengthening relationships.
Since its founding in 1999, TD Africa has played a central role in driving digital advancement across the continent. For almost three decades, we have connected global technology brands to African markets through efficient distribution channels, cloud services, and access to innovative tech solutions. But our greatest strengths have always come from our partnerships, and Celebrating You exists because of this.
This year’s event was a powerful reminder of why relationships matter. Chioma Chimere, Coordinating Managing Director of TD Africa, opened the night by reaffirming the company’s gratitude to its partners. She highlighted that the achievements recorded in 2025 were made possible by partners who consistently demonstrate trust, loyalty, and outstanding performance. Celebrating You, she said, is TD Africa’s way of acknowledging these contributions in a meaningful and unforgettable way.
Adding to her message, our CEO, Chioma Ekeh, called on partners to embrace what she described as the dawn of the Digital Renaissance. In her inspiring remarks, she noted that Africa is entering a new era, one built on technology, innovation, and collaborative strength.
Her powerful words set the tone for the evening:
“With the power of Technology, we are making a comeback. The interruption is over, African Renaissance is here, and this time it is digital… a renaissance is built by partnerships.”
One of the most reflective moments of the night came from Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh, Chairman of the Zinox Group, who reminded the audience that while technology shapes the future, it is character that sustains it. He spoke on the importance of integrity, common sense, and clarity of purpose, values he has championed throughout his career. His perspective offered both wisdom and direction for the digital era ahead.
The event drew an exceptional lineup of guests whose influence spans technology, business, governance, and social impact. Among them were Ibukun Awosika, former Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria and Special Guest of Honour; Dr. Ernest Ndukwe, former Executive Vice Chairman of the NCC; Hon. The appreciation continued with a thrilling raffle draw, where one lucky guest, whose name will be confirmed in our follow-up publication, drove home a brand-new SUV, much to the excitement of everyone in the room.

Guests were treated to: Styl Plus, delivering nostalgic classics, Wande Coal, lighting up the room with his high-energy performance, Chidalu Ekeh, delivering a moving spoken-word piece, and Kenny Blaq, keeping the hall roaring with laughter.
The blend of music, comedy, and poetry created a vibrant and relaxed atmosphere that perfectly captured the spirit of the event, elegant, joyful, and deeply appreciative.
